Kokatha Lineage Press is an Aboriginal-owned independent publishing and research platform dedicated to preserving, protecting, and sharing Aboriginal knowledge, history, and lived experience through culturally grounded storytelling, education, and research.
Founded and led by Conrad Bilney, Kokatha Lineage Press centres Aboriginal voices, intergenerational knowledge, and ethical engagement with history, science, and Country.

Kokatha Lineage Press exists because Aboriginal stories, knowledge and research are still too often told about us, not by us. It provides an Aboriginal‑led platform for Kokatha history, lived experience and ATK‑science work that mainstream publishers and institutions frequently ignore, filter or control.

Kokatha Lineage Press is led by its founder, who has over 40 years of work experience, formal tertiary qualifications and strong ties to his Kokatha inheritance. This background shapes every project, keeping Aboriginal knowledge, lived experience and cultural responsibility at the centre of the work.

Kokatha Lineage Presses methods are grounded in accuracy and cultural integrity, especially in Aboriginal history and lived experience. Stories are planned and checked so they stay truthful, respectful and clear. Scientific perspectives are used in a culturally responsible way, with Aboriginal knowledge systems and community authority kept at the centre.
Kokatha Lineage Press publishes:
Each work is authored or led by Aboriginal voices and prioritises cultural integrity over commercial production.
